SULAIMANI – Head of Kurdistan Region General Trade Directorate Nawzad Kamil said on Thursday (June 4) that Georgia has decided to open an honorary consulate in Erbil in the near future that will boost economic revival in the Kurdistan Region.
“Georgia is one of the top advanced countries in the scope of economy and has a successful experience in the difference aspects of trade. The goods and products of the country are available in several places and countries,” Kamil told the
Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) official media.
Following meetings with the officials in the Kurdistan Regio, a Georgian commercial delegation expressed its readiness to open a join trade center and the opening of flights between the Georgian capital Tblisi to Erbil.
