An anti-drug department said on June 26 that a total of 214.3 kilograms of narcotics were seized and 881 suspects on illegal drug use and trafficking were apprehended by the security forces in the first half of 2021.

662.5 kilograms of capsules of illicit drugs and over 40,900 kilograms of hashish-mingled hookah tobacco were also confiscated in the same while, the anti-drug directorate said.
